| While the reform of the United Nations (U.N.) holds out great promise to the world, by the very nature of power, such centralized authority presents an increasing temptation for bureaucracy and nepotism. |

| Instead, organic systems that allow the free flowing power and good structure of organisation from the centre to the limbs tend to be models that survive even the harshest conditions of evolution. | ||
| While a nation state may not be perfect, a nation nonetheless represents the interests of its citizens in a far more tangible way than any international body seeking to supplant such authority. The citizens of such Nation states rightfully should reject such motions to have their sovereign rights eroded in favour of such "global government". | ||
| The need for a second layer | ||
| Instead, what is clear is that a second layer is desperately required in order to assist states of similar geographic and cultural association to come together to manage their regional affairs as well as integrate these aspirations into the reform of global institutions. This is the goal of the six (6) great unions. | ||
